If you raised the issue, hopefully they considered it, but they can’t see it on a routine visit. The two main ways we check for it would be:

an Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT), where you get serial blood sugar measurements for two hours - before and after drinking a specific amount of glucose on an empty stomach in the morning.

A blood test called HbA1c which correlates to your average blood sugar over the last 3 months.
Yea, I point to diabetes primarily because unchecked it is probably the most debilitating cause.
