The first and only time I moved out of an apartment, I was certain they were going to keep most if not all of my deposit…
But surprisingly, I got all 2,200 of it back! I was shocked but so happy.

I can agree with that.
No, but I do remember the panic. My parents were convinced that it was going to affect everything, missile systems, the whole nine-yards. They even invested in huge water tanks to put in our basement and stored years worth of food.
Were they crazy? Absolutely. But I can still say I was somewhat affected because of the panic.
I’m 29 and I definitely remember Y2K. 2008 didn’t really affect though since I was in highschool.

A few nights ago, mine started beeping in the middle of my sleep and I swear I heard a bunch of really fast beeps right before I woke up and I was like *wtf was that", and 5 seconds later a single beep and I was like “oh”.
