and now… the moment you’ve all been waiting for…

but what is it?

radqueer.net is a conglomerate of radqueer resources, which currently consists of a phpbb forum, a mediawiki wiki, and an archivebox archive, as well as a yacy search engine to index said sites. it’s a combined effort of mine, malt, dave, and alucidity’s efforts. each of them admin one of the sites and are responsible for it, but they have moderation power on all the sites. i am the site director and have admin power over every website. i oversee and orchestrate the whole operation, and i set up the sites, but they are now their projects. all tied together under one roof

for the forum when you sign up you must provide contact details that the staff can use to verify that you have a positive history in the community. the aim is to have a higher barrier of entry compared to some other sites. for the wiki you can sign up and start editing as soon as you do. for the archive only admins have accounts, but anyone can submit sites to be archived, whether you have an account or not.

email is forced for the forum, however it is not verified, it is therefore, in essence, optional. as we are only letting in those we know are trustworthy we are removing the risk in forcing email verification, to add a little more safety.

it might have a bit of a rocky start, we’ll see, but we’re ready.
