I always loathed that movie with everything in me, but I think it’s because I saw it as meaning to entertain rather than to warn.

If you haven’t you should watch ‘Don’t Look Up’, you will loath it for the exact opposite reason. It does such a good job of warning that it loses most of it’s entertainment value and leaves you feeling nihilistic.

I know, I’ve really been meaning to and then I forget, and then I remember, and then I forget again. I’ve never heard it mentioned except in glowing terms. Not really the nihilism, though.

Knowing just barely enough about it in the first place to even have a vested interest, I think maybe I’m too prone to being sad tonight and I’m just gonna shelve it atm and go back to my personal bg3 hell. One should at least have stuffed shells or something, if they’re going to feel more apathetic about humanity than I already do.

I can’t speak for most people but I feel anyone substantially socially and environmentally aware the movie goes from comedy to drama, I legitimately couldn’t help but become emotionally invested in the plight of the main characters and the humour never hit.

Enjoy your BG3, I’m right near the end of my first playthrough myself.
