    My local library and state library network don’t have books on topics like anarchism and communism, so I still end up buying books

    (I know I could read them online free, but I find it much more pleasant to lie in bed and read a book vs. squinting at my phone, and I try to pass them on to someone else when I’m finished)

    This is almost certainly tounge-in-cheek.

    Here in OZ, many people have little “book houses” in the front garden, near the foot path. “Take a book, return a book” is the request, so if you have a book youre done with, drop it off in one of these that has something else your interested in.
