I am trying to create a community for my archive and related questions, what could be a reason for me not to be able to? The community creation form doesn’t return any mistakes upon clicking “Create”, it just doesn’t do anything.

Communities require a description, a name, and a display name
Names must be all lowercase and one word (it’s the URL slug and internal identifier). I am unsure if they can have symbols or not.
Display names don’t have any restrictions that I’m aware of.
I tried making a community without a description and it didn’t work, and then when I added one it did, so try that. If it still doesn’t work then I can check it out when I get home and have access to the console
Thank you! It appears the name I chose first contained unacceptable characters, and then it was too long. Is there a known length limit for a community name?
