Judging by the price of insulin versus the cost of making it, immortality would be very unevenly distributed.
In every immortality canon, you have to give something up. My theory is that we’ll extend life as far as our bodies will let us, but our minds will go.
Maybe we’ll gain the ability to upload our brains to a computer. But then the downside is, if the computer dies so do you.

A month or so ago I woke up and something went crack in my neck as I tried to get up from the bed. Pain. Can’t move my head. Slooowly subsides over like 15min. It still feels off and stiff and starts to hurt if it is a weird position for a while. Not sure what happened but fuck that.
I have hurt my neck more than once by sneezing too hard.
When I sneeze too hard I feel it for a few minutes in my neck and shoulders. Hate that feeling. I think I had that since my teens tho. I’m worried about it getting worse.
I don’t know if I should be proud or ashamed, but I’ve pulled my neck coming two or three times. It definitely makes me feel a way though
